Frosty start Swailend open but Hawkshill closed until 9.30am the shaded areas on the 12th ,2nd and 3rd greens still hard. I would also like to add that we have a big problem on both courses after the first weekend medals with members not repairing their pitchmarks some of the greens are just covered with marks, this is a big problem and your help would be very much appreciated.

Hawkshill open 15 holes and Swailend open full course. As from tomorrow weather permitting all 18 holes will be open on Hawkshill but the 5th,and 7th are on winter greens because the summer greens are not quite up to the same standard as the rest because of then being more low lying so the snow and frost stays in the ground longer. The other two greens on winters are the 8th because of the reshapeing of the corner and the 16th because of the three new bunkers and the surrounding area. The turfed areas at the 14th fairway and the 16th green have been fenced off so could you please keep off the new turf thanks
